EvoX FAQ’s

How do I set up a new web user?

Set up in Prima - make sure has an email address (not used in another user in Prima), and under web access tab, ensure it has a username and password. Then in the company, under the customer tab, press the ‘refresh’ button to sync to EvoX

How do I add Approvers & Favorites lists?

Set up in EvoX as normal

Why is the pricing not showing correctly?

Make sure the pricing is set up in Prima correctly using the Price Check button (either set up a contract or assign a mailer to correct), this should show instantly on EvoX. If it is not working, check for duplicate email addresses in Prima, if there is more than one, remove the duplicate and refresh

Where is the Customer Invoice History?

The invoice history will only show Prima invoices after the switch (we are improving API to show location info)

How do I set up multi-user logins?

Set up in EvoX in edit contact bit, you can list the different accounts they need access to. When the user is logged in, they click on "my account" and there is a "SWITCH" button to change accounts. BUT please be aware of the address restrictions information below….

Address Restrictions

EvolutionX does not recommend using address restrictions for users who can access multiple parent accounts. (I believe any company is a parent account by definition – any company can have a child account set-up by saying the parent account is account ABC123)

How Address Restrictions Work with Multiple Accounts

  • Address restrictions are user-level, not account-level: When you set restricted addresses for a user, those restrictions follow the user across ALL accounts they have access to
  • Addresses are visible across accounts: The restricted addresses set for a user will be accessible and visible from all accounts they can log into
  • No default address support: Default addresses are not supported when a user switches between accounts

What This Means for Your Scenario

If you restrict a user to specific shipping addresses, they will see and be able to use those same addresses regardless of which account they're currently logged into. The system cannot differentiate between "addresses for Account A" and "addresses for Account B" for the same user.

Recommended Alternative

For users who need access to multiple accounts with different shipping requirements, consider:

  • Creating separate user accounts (with different email addresses or usernames) for each account they need to access
  • This way, each user profile can have its own set of restricted addresses specific to that account

Where to Set Address Restrictions

If you still want to proceed with address restrictions despite the limitation, you can set them in the user's profile under the "Address restriction" settings in the Admin User settings module.
