Within a Product record there is the facility to set a Special Price. This price will run for a defined time period only, and once the Expiry Date has passed then the Special Price will no longer run against the Product.

If a valid Special Price exists, then according to the Pricing Rules within the system, this price will take highest priority of any pricing structure set. This includes Customer Contract pricing.


To set a Special Price:

  • Enter into the Product Record
  • Click on the Product Units/Pricing tab
  • Tick the Feature Product / Special Priced box
  • Select a future Expiry Date for the Special Price
  • Enter a Special Price value in the field
  • Save
