Go into Stock > Products
Type in the Product Code
Click Search
In the Product Record, click the Competitor Codes button
In the Competitor Code window, enter the code into the Competitor Code box and any Information
Click Save Details
If you search in SO or on Web for any competitor codes, it will insert the SKU of the product code that you entered the competitor code into to.
