Vendors can send through data files where the cost price, selling price and RSP are all the same.  If the cost prices are correct then the selling price and RSP need to be updated otherwise the items will be sold at cost.

The steps below will guide you how to set the RSP and selling price the same, with a % uplift from cost.

  1. Go to Publications > Publication Grid Manager
  2. Within Catalogue Name select the vendor catalogue that is to have the RSP and Selling price updated
  3. Click Search
  4. If items need to be removed from the search, click onto the Results tab and highlight the items to be removed from the grid.  Click Remove Selected Records if required
  5. Click the Change tab
  6. Tick Update RSP to and from the drop down select the suitable option. e.g. Increase by this % and add a percentage such as 30%.
  7. Click Apply
  8. To make the selling price the same as the RSP tick the option Update Selling Price to and select Set to THIS Discount from RSP.  Leave the number as 0.
  9. Click Apply

The Selling price and RSP now match and have been increased from the cost price by the percentage set eg 30%.

The publication has been updated but the stock codes need to be updated with the latest RSP and selling price.

  1. Go to Stock > Product Pricing Grid Manager
  2. Click Search to load all the Stock Products
  3. Click on to the Result tab and remove any products that has a Pricing Method set to Manual
  4. Click onto the Change tab and tick Update RSP and Sell Prices in Priority and Not UL
  5. Click Apply

This will update the Product Unit and Pricing information to match the catalogue RSP and selling price, dependent on the Priority order set in the publication.

You can use all of these price filters to manage your pricing.  The steps above is to set the RSP and Selling price the same, with a % uplift from cost.

Please note : When a grid manager has been used to update records, there is no 'undo' button.  Please check what you are updating before clicking Apply.
