Journals are great tools for checking the history of changes made in Prima and also as a CRM tool which can be used to set call backs and reminders

Journal tabs are available in most Prima modules.

Program Generated Journals

In the example below we can confirm who authorized this sales order.

*The created by column lists the name of the user that made the change.

Click the journals tab from within the sales order (or other module)

Check the Program Generated box

Highlight the journal entry for details

User Journals

If you enter a user journal with a start date and no end date, this will show on the owner's dashboard as an outstanding task. You can set up tasks for yourself or for other users to address on their dash board.

If you choose the option 'Auto Call Back' you can continue to add to the same journal by clicking 'Follow Up' and entering notes and a next call back date:

CRM Queries

You can also use the CRM Query in Company>Contacts Grid Manager by prssing 'CRM Query Not Selected' and choosing a query to run. Once you click apply and search you can then go to the 'Change' tab and create user journals for the account manager of these customers to follow up. You can also send the customers to an address book in MailChimp if you have this linked to send out a marketing email.
