Creating a Mailer in Prima:

  1. Click on Publications > Mailers from the side menu

  2. Click on New in the top left , or New record at the bottom of the page

  3. Enter in a Mailer name, Start/Expiry date and Save
  4. Double click to open and click New in the top left to add items and Save

Importing a mailer from Excel:

At the bottom of this article we have a Mailer template for download to compare with your exported files. While converting over your files, keep in mind the following:

  • Make sure the Date in your file is formatted as > DD-MM-YYYY. 
  •  The Item Code column is case sensitive, make sure you enter the Stock Code like displayed in Prima.
  • Save as .CSV (Comma Delimited) > Import when EDI is running on the C: Drive:
  • C:\PrimaV6\Imports


Applying a Mailer to Customers

  1. select the Company Grid Manager from the side menu. 
  2.  Enter the Company Name / Code in the top left hand corner, and then click Search  in the bottom right corner. This will show you all of the matching companies on the Results tab. 
  3. On the Results Tab, if there are any companies you do not want to apply the Mailer to, click the companies you'd like to remove, then click on Remove selected companies at the bottom of the page.  Then, click on the Change tab. 
  4. On the Change tab, navigate to the Publication option and click the checkbox, then select the desired mailer from the drop down menu.
  5. Click Apply.
