Some customers operate with a mix of wrap & pack and drop ship locations. In these cases, certain items should not be visible to drop ship customers or should not automatically substitute with alternatives from vendors that do not fit the intended fulfilment method.

Prima currently supports restrictions at the customer level.

Using Dealer Exclusion Orderpads

Until location-level controls are available, you can limit item visibility for specific customers by using dealer exclusion orderpads.

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Create a New Orderpad

    • Create the orderpad under your own company.

  2. Add Restricted Items

    • Add all items you do not want drop ship customers to see.

  3. Set as Dealer Exclusion Orderpad

    • In the orderpad header, set the orderpad type to Dealer Exclusion.

  4. Share the Orderpad

    • Share the orderpad with the customers who should not see the restricted items.

    • You can share via:

      • The Share button in the orderpad header, or

      • The Company Grid Manager.

Important Notes

  • This method works at the customer level, not per location.

  • If a user places orders for multiple locations, this workaround may not fully resolve the issue.

  • Prima is actively developing location-level visibility controls.

Upcoming Improvements

Prima is currently working on:

  • Location-level orderpad controls, allowing visibility and exclusions for specific delivery points.

  • Improvements to help manage items for customers with mixed drop ship vs. wrap & pack locations.
