Go to the drop down list on the left hand side and select Company then Companies.  

Search the company name and hit enter on your keyboard, when the grid appears double click into the correct line of the company.  

TIP- The green arrows in the right hand corner of the screen allows you to complete a more specific search: 

Within the companies details, click into the Customer tab in the toolbar.

In this screen, ensure that Cust Dept Reqd is ticked, this will ensure a reference is selected to prior to a sales order being authorized. 

Under the title Customer Department, in the bottom right hand corner of the page, select Add.  

Add the customer department code and information and click OK.  

Customer Departments will be displayed. 

To amend a customer department double click on the cost center line and change the details then select OK

To remove a customer department, highlight the customer department and press remove.
