Some suppliers may require you to order a minimum quantity of a product.
You can set this in the Supplier record against your stock product:
Note - If a Minimum Order Quantity is set against a supplier, the sales order quantity will automatically be updated. You can overtype this to the desired quantity if needed.
Reorder Multiples
You can also set a product to Reorder Multiple. This is used where a supplier requires you to order in multiples.
For example, they may have a minimum order quantity of 10, but then require you to order in multiples of 10.
So, if your customer ordered 15, you would be satisfying the minimum order level but the requirement would be updated to 20 to fulfil the bulk amount.
