Gift Cards


This is phase1 of Gift Cards and currently only works on the TILL. Webstore and Invoice/Sales Order will be in phase2!


Admin Setup

  • Login to Admin > General > Card Schemes 
    • Click ‘New Card Scheme’ at the bottom 
    • Give the card a name and set whether physical card or electronic
    • Click ‘save’ at the bottom
  • Now you will see ‘make product’ at the top right   
    • Create the card as a product, be sure to set your selling price, save.
  • Tick ‘enabled for issue’ back in the setup window
  • Set your ‘Starting Balance’ under Points – this will be the multiple of the $ card value x 100
    • In this case the gift card is for $200 x 100 Point Per = 20000 Starting Balance
    • Set an expiry date by number of days or a set date, if needed. Otherwise set as ‘no expiry’
    • Do the same for the Card Expiry Section if needed.
    • Set Spending Limits if needed

Using on Till/POS

  • Search for your gift card by Product Code
    • Double click or click ‘select’ to add to the order

  • Once Added double click again to assign a number to the gift card
    • If this step is skipped you will receive an error message telling you to add a card number when completing the order

  • Take payment and complete the order
    • This card can now be used as a form of payment
    • To use, select ‘Gift Card’ at checkout and enter the card number
      • You can check the remaining balance on the card before completing payment
